Finnair Expands Its Horizons: New Routes and Increased Frequencies for Winter 2024 and Summer 2025

Exciting news for travellers! Finnair has just unveiled its updated traffic program for Winter 2024 and Summer 2025, and it's packed with new routes and increased frequencies to some fantastic destinations. New routes include Japan, Lativa, Dallas USA, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland and Norway.

Japan Takes Center Stage

In Summer 2025, Finnair is ramping up its services to Japan, adding more weekly frequencies to Tokyo Narita. This means daily flights to both Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita will be available, offering travellers even more flexibility and options to explore this beautiful country. But that's not all - Nagoya will also benefit from a third weekly frequency, making it easier than ever to discover the wonders of this diverse nation.

Discover Kirkenes, Norway

Finnair is also spreading its wings to Northern Norway with a brand-new destination - the charming town of Kirkenes. Starting in the Summer 2025 season, Finnair will fly to Kirkenes from Helsinki via Ivalo three times a week, using a 68-seater ATR aircraft. This new route is perfect for Finnish and international travelers looking to explore the enchanting landscapes of Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway. Plus, it offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the famous Hurtigruten cruise that sails to and from Kirkenes.

In addition to the exciting new routes, Finnair is also increasing its frequencies to the Baltic capitals. Tallinn and Riga will each get an extra five weekly frequencies, while Vilnius will see an additional two, making it even easier to explore these vibrant and historic cities.

Dallas Gets a Winter Warm-Up

For Winter 2024, Finnair is adding frequencies to its Dallas route, making it a year-round daily service. Finnair’s Dallas flights offer seamless connections to American Airlines’ extensive network out of their Dallas hub, making it a convenient choice for travelers heading to the USA.

So, what's on the menu? How about direct flights to Riga from destinations like Alicante, Tirana, Sofia, Ljubljana, Skopje, Chisinau, and Pristina? Sounds tempting, right?

Here's a sneak peek at what's in store with AirBaltic Unveils 11 New Routes:

  • Riga to Alicante Spain (2 flights weekly, starting February 27, 2024)
  • Riga to Tirana Albania (2 flights weekly, starting May 2, 2024)
  • Riga to Sofia Bulgaria  (3 flights weekly, starting May 2, 2024)
