IMEX asks you to book your own ticket.

If your ticket price is less, they will refund the exact amount that you paid for your ticket, up to a maximum that you will find in the Flight reimbursements Table for IMEX Frankfurt 2023

IMEX reviews your ticket and if the timings are suitable will approve this and you’ll receive an email to confirm the approval along with the paperwork that needs to be submitted to the refund desk during the show (confirmation email, photo ID and a business card).  You should receive the refund within 1 week of the show closing
