Known as the 'friendliest country' in Africa, Uganda is where the East African savannah meets the West African jungle. This lush country has it all, from open plains and rainforests to tropical rivers and misty mountains.

You'll find the source of the Nile in uganda, and there is some spectacular white-water rafting near the Murchisons Falls, and tantalising mountaineering in the snow-capped peaks of mountain. Uganda – with its unique blend of savannah and forest creatures, its rare wealth of mountain and lake habitats – is simply dazzling.

Language

English is the official language although only spoken by a small part of the population while Swahili is the national language.
