As Etihad Airways will also fly this route daily when the summer 2012 flight schedule starts, airberlin is able to offer passengers flights from Dusseldorf to Abu Dhabi twice a day. From 25th March 2012 onwards, the frequency of flights from Berlin to the Persian Gulf will increase from four a week to one a day. At the same time, airberlin plans to fly with an Airbus 330-200 from Berlin via Abu Dhabi to the Thai resort island of Phuket. Optimal connectivity options to Phuket via Abu Dhabi are available from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.
Return Economy Class tickets to Abu Dhabi can be booked now from as little as €449, including taxes, fees and topbonus miles. airberlin passengers can then transfer at Abu Dhabi to connecting flights to a large number of attractive destinations, for instance to South-East Asia, China, India and Australia. The topbonus frequent flyer and Etihad Guest programs are combined, so passengers can earn status and award miles on flights operated by either airline.
