Climate

East Canada has a warm, humid summer and a cold winter.
Because of its location near Lake Ontario, Toronto is warmer in winter and cooler in summer than it would otherwise be. It also causes the summer humidity. Although Toronto is one of Canada's warmer cities in winter, winters are still severe, with snow on the ground most days between mid-December and mid-March.
East Canada enjoys a fairly sunny climate. The summers usually have an abundance of warm or hot sunny days.

When to go
 
East Canada is a wonderful destination in most seasons. January is very cold however, and might not be the best time to visit.
