Bratislava
Located on the river Danube, Bratislava is the stunning capital of Slovakia. Once the coronation city of the Kings of Hungary, Bratislava is an Old World gem with cobblestoned roads, 18th century rococo buildings and many street cafes and restaurants. It is an old city with a long history and many sights.

The city provides a glorious gateway to the Carpathians and beyond. An age-old castle stands proudly at the top of a hill, overlooking the Danube, with the modern Apollo bridge lying at its feet. And that's Bratislava: a mix of new, old and older. All of which is worth a look.
