North Korea has a very similar climate to that of South Korea, but colder and drier in the winter. North Korea has a continental climate with four distinct seasons.Rainy season is from July to September, but autumn is cooler. Winters are cold while summers are warm.

Spring and autumn are transitional seasons marked by mild temperatures and variable winds and bring the most pleasant weather.The best time of the year to visit North Korea is during the months of May, June, September and October.
