
Climate
Tunisia has three types of climate:
Northern area: The north of Tunisia has a typical Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild and rainy winters. In the north of the country the rainy season lasts from October to May
Central area: The central area of Tunisia has a semi-arid climate
South area: The climate becomes warmer and drier, and is very hot in the area of the Sahara. Summer temperatures are often very high, especially in the south and inland, strong are the temperature ranges between day and night, while along the coast temperatures are moderate from the sea.
When to go
The best time to visit Tunisia are spring months between March and June and the autumn months between September and October.
