Reunification Day has its roots in April 30, 1975: a historic day when Saigon fell, marking an end to Vietnam War and starting a new chapter for Vietnam. Celebrated nationwide; from Hanoi's busy streets to the colorful avenues in Ho Chi Minh City - adorned with flags and banners - it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed by this country's solidarity and joy as you walk through them.
