Sihanoukville Half Marathon Cambodia - April 7, 2024
A warm welcome to the Kingdom of Cambodia. This will already be the 9th edition of the annual Sihanoukville Marathon, held in the fabulous coastal province, which boasts a stunning coastline of white-sand beaches. To give you a bit of background, Sikanoukville was Cambodia's first deep-water port created in the late 1950s. It was of major importance as it made the country’s international trade indepent of the Vietnam’s Mekong Delta.
With the great success of the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, we now extend this international event to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Ochheuteal Beach in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.
Sihanoukville Half Marathon Cambodia for the environment
The Marathon is an event to protect the environment and for artificial limbs support to the land mine victims and disable people. The event will be held under the theme “Run for the protection of nature, saving our globe, and the well-being of mankind”.
To help preserve the environment and support land mine victims and disabled people, the Marathon is held at the beautiful Ochheuteal Beach.
Your attendance and participation in this event will not only be greatly appreciated, but also show your concern for global matters such as pollution and global warming.
